A few weeks ago, I received enormous responses to my discussion when you have more things than you need. Over the next year it is my intention to truly look at the things in my life that bring me joy and to eliminate many of the items which take up space in my closet and life. For many, subscription boxes can simply be an addition of unnecessary items. However, I believe that subscription boxes such as Roxksbox can possibly help in not acquiring as many items.
Rocksbox allows you to rent 3 pieces of designer jewelry at a time for $19 a month. Through a profile, subscribers (or a Shine Insider) are able create a wish list of pieces and a stylist pulls together pieces that you have chosen along with what she feels you would like. Subscribers are able to keep their set as long as needed and can switch out at any time. If you fall in love with a piece, you can purchase it at any time. Additionally, each month you are given $10 to apply for a purchase.
My latest Rocksbox was my third.
My current selection included one of my wish list items, turquoise Kendra Scott earrings ($55), a House of Harlow turquoise pendant ($45) and a Gorjana Cress Split Simmer Ring. ($50). I love Kendra Scott earrings but these are too big for my short neck. I also wore the ring and necklace a few times but not enough that I felt the need to purchase. In the photo above, I’ve also included the earrings that I did fall in love with from my second box, A.V. Max Rhinestone disc earrings in silver ($30).
Following my rule of not having more things than I need, Rocksbox allows me to enjoy designer pieces and easily return them when I am finished. As I continue to receive boxes, I intend to ask the question if a piece brings me joy and makes me happy. If it does, I will make it a part of my collection. I’ve worn the earrings I purchased 1-2 times each week and feel they were a great purchase and something I would not have looked at in a store.
If you are interested in trying Rocksbox for yourself, I would love to treat you to your first month free by using my code SherylBFF11. It’s my gift to you!
