Happy St. Patrick’s Day Friends!

I make no apologies that I have been quiet in this space. My work life has been and will be taking different turns and as a result, I’ve had to acknowledge things must be done differently. I often remind my clients that balance is not  a static state and something we obtain once and keep.  Rather, we maintain balance by adjusting our priorities on a daily basis.

Adjusting is not always easy but necessary. As I make adjustments, I also know there are things I need to keep in my life. Sharing my thoughts in this space is important and will continue to happen on a regular basis within a few weeks to a month. Please be looking out for the beginnings of a newsletter and additional items I have excited to shared.

I will share I do plan to continue sharing favorites on a regular basis. The favorites may not occur weekly but will contain more in the posts I do share.

As we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, here are some of my favorites over the past few weeks.

March Madness

As a University of Kentucky fan, I admit that the NCAA Basketball Tournament is one of the most exciting times of the year. I’m currently watching a game where I have no affiliation as I write this. Kentucky girls are born loving basketball and I am one of them. PS: My Wildcats play at 9:45 PM Friday in Indianapolis. Wishing your team the best (unless they play UK).

Neocell Super Powder Collagen

At Alexis’s from Chemistry Cachet suggestion, I began using  Neocell powder collagen as a supplement to help my gut but also to perhaps help my hair and skin.  This is a tasteless powder that can be mixed with water or coffee and assists with digestion and adding collagen to the skin. I have begun to see fine hair growth but the most exciting item is what I am seeing in my skin. I have a small droop in one of my eyelids and someone even asked me recently if I had my eyes done. My skin is tighter and healthier. I highly recommend trying this if even for one month. (affiliate link)

Hello Fresh

We continue to receive Hello Fresh on an almost weekly basis. I’ve considered trying other subscription services but Hello Fresh continues to fit our dietary needs and have what I feel is a better selection. I do often have to substitute an item to make it gluten free but the substitution is very easy. This week I substituted gluten free pasta for the meatballs with broccoli and pesto pasta.

If you are still curious about Hello Fresh, use this link to save $40 off your first box. That will make your first box $29 and you can cancel with no problems if you are not satisfied.

Victoria Beckham for Target

This is happening on April 9th. Loving a few of the pieces.

Speaking of Fashion:

I plan on adding new pieces to my Poshmark closet this weekend. I have several spring and summer items I no longer wear and would love to have someone else enjoy. Poshmark allows you to sale your own clothing from home and easily ship to the buyer. You can find me @sherylww. Not a member yet, use my code GQNJT to receive $5 off your first purchase

Let’s be honest, there are many of us who can say our dreams didn’t come true. Let’s talk about what happens when what we wanted never comes into our grasp.

I’ve yet to accomplish a  complete Do Nothing Day,  but this post shares how it changed a life.

Truth be told, we are not all wired to be entrepreneurs that run our own business or have multiple side hustles. Sadly, many women are feeling job shamed when they work a full time job or have no interest in creating a new business venture. Stop the Job Shaming reminds us that the work force continues to need workers of all types.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
