Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! Happy Halloween Eve and Happy end of October. It’s been a quick week and once again it is Friday. The city of Lexington has a multitude of events occurring this weekend including the Breeder’s Cup, The University of Kentucky vs The University of Tennessee football game, trick or treating and multiple other activities. I hope you take time to enjoy activities in your own hometown.

Here are some of the things I loved this week.

Music Therapy

Yes, I’m like everyone else and have had Adele’s Hello on replay. I’ve seen the statements about those who don’t like the song but I just can’t understand it.

Once again, Jordan, the Kentucky boy on the voice knocked it out in the knock out round of The Voice. Conicidently, he sang Adele’s Fire in the Rain.

Scream Queens

I don’t watch much television but James and I started watching Scream Queens from the beginning of the season. It’s a play off of every horror movie you have every seen. I guarantee you will laugh but also keep watching.

Argo Tea

I’ve really fallen in love with Argo Tea. Carolina Honey is my favorite but I recently tried the MojiTea.

Pet Therapy

Yesterday was National Cat Day but in our house every day is cat day. If you follow me on Instagram you have seen photos of my Sam. He is naughty, he is crazy and each night he waits for me to go to bed and tucks me in by laying on my chest. He stays for about five minutes and then leaves. Life is never boring with Sam.

Sam balances out the personality of Sasha. Sasha is our grand dame of the house and feels her life is to simply eat and sleep when and where she wants.

Blogger Love

Last weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Tiff from Bright on a Budget (from High Five for Friday fame) for brunch. She is so lovely and it was wonderful to spend time getting to know her better. We only live a few miles from each other and plan to make it a regular date. Little did I know at the time I found Tiff’s link up from Alexis from Chemistry Cachet (who is Texxas) that I would be finding someone in my own neighborhood. (PS, although I love the sweater I have on, it doesn’t do my figure any good!)
