Are you saying “Thank You Friday?” The first of the week went really well and then I began to feel overwhelmed. Today I’m presenting a training I haven’t presented in three months (I knew I enjoyed that time off). I then need to seriously complete my To Do list that keeps staring at me. Today, I am thankful for a few needed days to slow down, take a deep breath and reevaluate for the week ahead.
Quote of the Week
This quote basically states how I feel right now. Dealing with several things that need to be completed and done (yesterday). Thank You Mrs. AOK for reminding me I’m not alone.

Finding Balance
This is another post that I needed to read. Caroline from In Due Time, reminded me that balance is an ongoing process. Our lives change daily and what kept things in order yesterday may not work today. Balance is about learning the skills to deal with the constantly changing world we live in. If you sometimes struggle with making sure you are always doing the “right” things, then this post is for you.

Gratitude of the Week
I’ve been blessed over the past week (and into next) to have a calendar full of lunch and dinner dates with some of my favorite ladies. Last week I had lunch with a former co-worker (after 6 months of planning) and we are now planning on lunch monthly. I finally got to meet in person the beatuiful Lindsay from Bourbon, Lipstick and Stilletos. We don’t live that far apart but it’s been hard to schedule a time to meet. We’ve been able to develop a friendship via text, emails and posts and it truly felt like we were simply catching up rather than meeting for the first time. Sadly, we talked so much we forgot to take a picture (Blogger Fail). I’ve also had dinner with a friend, bunch is planned with another and more plans for next week. I never take for granted the wonderful friendships that I have in my life.
If it’s been awhile since you had lunch or scheduled time with a friend, I encourage you to pick up the phone. Send the text or email. Friendships are truly a gift and remember to nurture them.
