I know it’s not the first Friday of the month but it certainly feels like it is! Hoping that your first week back at work into a regular routine and establishing new habits is going well. I’m thankful for a week that has had many sunny (yet cold) days. It’s been a great week of reading about everyone’s word of the year and there have been many great posts from some of my favorite people.
Here’s what I’ve been loving this first week of January!
Informational Post of the Week
Every blogger needs to read Christina’s For Those Offering Sponsorships post. She details one of her worst experiences of paying for two months and receiving nothing for the exchange. There are great reminders here for everyone who is considering sponsoring a blog or offering sponsorship. I especially like the tip of not offering more than you can provide. Be realistic and fair to yourself and your sponsors.
Recipe of the Week
Super Easy Diary Free Dutch Brownies
I try to avoid dairy as much as I can but it can be difficult. As Alexis from Chemistry Cachet shares, most recipes for diary free include a massive amount of ingredients. This recipe is simple, easy and looks heavenly. I’ve pinned it and so should you!
Link-up of the Week
The Life 366 Project form Lola and Lane is a fun and great weekly linkup where you share your photos of the week. Most of us take a photo a day but often don’t share it on Instagram. I think #life366Project is a fun way to record your weekly photos for the year ahead.
Self Care Post of the Week
Best Kept Self’s Five Simple, life changing daily breaths is a reminder that everyone needs. As you read this, remember to breathe. Are you holding it? Are you taking short breaths? There are a variety of breaths that can assist us throughout the day and this post will be one you want to return to!
Favorite Item of the Week
As a southern girl, my favorite tea will always be sweet tea. However, I also love the variety of teas that are available. However, I have not always been sure of how to make the perfect cup of tea. I received this Perfecttea Maker along with a fantastic variety of loose leaf teas as a gift from my mother-in-law for Christmas and it is (as it says) perfect. Brew the tea and water as desired and place over a cup for a quick and easy clean up.
What you missed from me this week. (I’ve been busy posting)
Where Are You Going? (and my word of the year)
Try This At Home – This is a new series that I think everyone will benefit from.
Have a great weekend!
