I know there are parts of the country experiencing much colder weather than Kentucky, but it is finally feeling like winter. However, in true Kentucky fashion, we are expecting highs in the 60’s on Saturday. Regardless of the weather in your life, I hope you are taking time to enjoy moments of this time of year.
Here are a few of my favorite posts and things of the past week!
15 Stretches You Should Do Every Day
I am amazed at the number of clients who admit they do not stretch at all. Stretching is one of the easiest and best gifts you can give to yourself. Try at least half of these stretches mentioned in this post.
Pantone Color Of The Year 2017
I was so excited to see that Pantone announced greenery as the 2017 Color of The Year. I have a complete set of summer dishes in this color (I knew there was a reason I kept them) and I love that green symbolizes revive, restore and renew. A pop of green can change everything!
Heisman Winner – Lamar Jackson
Full disclosure, I attended the University of Louisville for graduate school. Full disclosure, I bleed blue for the University of Kentucky. Nonetheless, I was so happy when Lamar Jackson, quarterback for the University of Louisville, won the Heisman Award last Saturday night. He is the youngest player to win the award, the first for the University of Louisville and gave the most authentic speech you will hear. (Check out his outfit.)
Something Blue
I’ve been very good at not buying for myself this season but I couldn’t turn this Kentucky Blue peplum sweater down. You can find it at Loft! It also comes in gray!
