Today is one of my favorite posts as I have the opportunity to introduce my readers to one of my favorite bloggers. Mar fro T.O and fro shares beautiful photographs of her beautiful Canada, as well great recipes and a fantastic post at the beginning of each month with daily celebrations and suggestions for blog prompts.
Expecting her first baby in March, she is also sharing how she is staying healthy during her pregnancy. It’s so much fun to watch her pregnancy in her Instagram photos. As I like to get to know my sponsors in a different format rather than traditional questions, join me for a quick get to know Mar that might go a little beyond her typical blog posts!
Favorite Food: I grew up in a meat and potatoes family, so one of my fave comfort foods is a roast, with mashed potatoes and gravy. I’m also a sucker for antipasto – meats, cheese and olives are my weakness. After my family trip to Italy, I still have spaghetti with clams or mussels on the brain. I think its safe to say I just love food in general!
Favorite Time of day and/or Week: Whenever and whatever day I have off with my husband. (lately they’ve been few and far between).
Favorite Movie: The Little Mermaid and E.T. remain my favourites from childhood. Oldies, but goodies.
Favorite Season: It’s hard to pick a favourite. Fall is so beautiful, I love the snow in winter, spring means my birthday and summer is beach season.
Favorite Vacation Spot: Alaska or Hawaii (I’m a West Coast girl at heart).
Favorite Book: The Hunger Game series.
Morning Person or Night owl? Pregnancy has not allowed me to stay up past 9:30pm, so definitely a morning person.
Item you can’t leave home without: During the week – cell phone, coffee, pen for the newspaper crossword and transit tokens.
The song that’s on replay in your life right now? It’s Your Love by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. It was my husband and I’s first dance, and when I’m on long drives in the car I love to put it on repeat.
Movie Star Crush: Ryan Gosling, because he’s a good Canadian boy and… come one, just look at him.
Which actress would play you in a movie? I’ve been told I look like Rachel McAdams, so we’ll go with her. And like Mr. Gosling, she’s a good Canadian girl.
What would you name the autobiography of your life? I think it would be the title of my blog – T.O. & fro. With my husband’s hockey career, we were always moving to and fro. It’s also a play on words because home base is Toronto, often referred to as T.O. |
